Payment
Visa, Access, Mastercard and Eurocard are acceptable for amounts over ten pounds sterling.
For payment in overseas currencies, credit cards offer a very good rate of exchange and have the advantage that there is no need to make allowance for bank charges. Also, for new customers, there is no waiting for bank clearance. Travellers cheques in pounds sterling are another economical method of payment.
Banks tend to charge very high currency conversion fees which can result in lengthy delays . Please ask your bank to write money orders or bank drafts in pounds sterling. If you choose to pay in your own currency it is essential to consult us as to the precise amount.
Delivery
Insured postage is charged at cost.
Overseas orders, worldwide except to Europe, may be sent by airmail, second-class airmail or seamail.
Seamail takes 6-12 weeks. Second-class airmail takes 2-5 weeks. Airmail takes 7-10 working days.
We recommend second class airmail as moderate in cost and reasonable in time.
European orders are sent by normal mail, but can be sent on request by first-class airmail at twice to four times the cost of normal mail.
